These homemade custard cream donuts are the perfect treat for anyone who loves soft and fluffy pastries. The donuts are made from scratch and filled with a delicious vanilla custard cream that adds a sweet and creamy taste to every bite.

Step 1Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a donut pan.

Step 2In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Step 3In another bowl, whisk together milk, yogurt, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Step 4Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Step 5Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold about 2/3 full.

Step 6Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the donuts are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 7While the donuts are baking, prepare the custard cream. In a medium saucepan, heat milk and sugar over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.

Step 8In a mixing bowl, whisk together egg yolks, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the milk mixture to the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
