The food most frequently served on special occasions is biryani. There are few locations in pakistan where you may find the best and perfect beef biryani. Different types of biryani are made using various cooking techniques. Let's go and prepare beef biryani step by step.

Step 1In a pot, add oil and Onion, fry onion until golden brown; take out half quantity of fried onions for later use.

Step 2Then in remaining fried onion add beef and mix well until meat changes color.

Step 3Add ginger garlic paste and mix well for 2 minutes.

Step 4Cover the pot and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.

Step 5Then add tomatoes and mix well.

Step 6Next add water, mix and bring it to boil; cover with lid and cook on low flame until meat is tender.

Step 7Then add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, black cardamom, green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon sticks; mix well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 8Then add yogurt and mix well.

Step 9Add lemon juice and fresh coriander; mix well and cook until oil separate and set aside.

Step 10For assembling:

Step 11In a separate pot, add boiled rice, beef gravy masala, lemon slices, tomato slices, fresh coriander and add remaining boiled rice.

Step 12In water add food color; mix well and drizzle over biryani.

Step 13Cover and cook on low flame for 8 to 10 minutes.

Step 14Remove and serve with raita.
